SmartHealth members who use the Ascension Network (Tier 1) will pay lower out of pocket costs when compared to services through the National Network or out-of-network.

In order to ensure that you're getting services within the Ascension Network you can:
  • Use the doctor and location search here
  • Discuss referrals with your doctor and share with them a desire to stay within the Ascension Network
  • Discuss any lab work done in the office with your doctor and ask whether it will be sent to an Ascension Network lab, if you're taking a lab order to get services completed visit an Ascension
